Hello!

My practice is centered in Chittenden County, Vermont. My passion and work is dedicated to the emotional well being of Older Adults as they transition and adjust to the many unique experiences of this developmental stage in the lifespan. I currently provide individual therapy to clients via telehealth and in the privacy of your home when appropriate. Much of my experience has been focused on older adults with complex medical issues that have impacted their life in such a way that accessing mental health therapy was only made possible by receiving support in their home.

Issues that have been predominant in my practice is the intersection of chronic illness and mental health, transitions/role/identity adjustments in older adulthood, grief and loss, caregiving, depression, anxiety, complex family issues, estrangement, unresolved trauma as well as loneliness and disconnection from community.

In your session with me, you will experience an individualized approach that starts with authentic connection, ease and focus on your unique experience and needs that validate your experience without fear of judgement or concern for stigma in contacting a professional. My approach relies heavily upon the utilization of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Person Centered Therapy with influence from trauma informed care.
