My role as an intern therapist is to provide a warm and non-judgmental space where I can meet you where you are. I am here to help you feel comfortable as you navigate your path to healing, through an honest exploration of feelings and embracing your authentic self. Everyone’s experience is unique, and I am here to validate and support you at every age and stage.

Specialties:

I began my career as a neuroscience research analyst and studied the impact of neurodegenerative diseases on both patients and caregivers. I also worked as a geriatric care manager and helped clients and families undergo transitions related to dementia diagnoses. I specialize in supporting young, middle-aged, and older adult individuals (18+), couples, and families that are adjusting to life transitions, dementia, medical trauma, caregiver burnout, and grief. I also specialize in supporting preteens, teens, and young adults (ages 10 and up) who may be struggling with trauma, stress, anxiety, or depression.

Modalities:

Our work together will be informed by a client-centered and trauma-informed approach with the integration of a family systems lens. I will also pull from modalities such as mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic experiencing, and expressive arts.

Credentials:

Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy in progress; Certified Dementia Care Partner; Bachelor of Science in Cognitive & Behavioral Neuroscience
