Hello- my name is Christina DeFilippis, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing teletherapy to those in search of highly effective mental health care.

I am a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker and also have my PEL to work in the school setting. My experience is working with adolescents, adults and the geriatric population.  My experience includes working in schools and hospital settings including medical and psychiatric settings for young adult and memory care.  My experience includes working with others that have struggled with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD/ADD) and other emotional challenges. My role is to listen to my client’s needs and effectively help manage their symptoms or situations. My goal is to help you create solutions to any challenging issues you may be facing. My passion and experience include working with the geriatric population and supporting families struggling with caregiver burnout and assist in placing a loved one in long term care facilities, recognizing that this process can be stressful. My approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy and a collaborative problem-solving approach. Please call or email me with any questions.
