Hi, I’m Nedra Smith, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Michigan with a deep commitment to supporting older adults through life’s complex transitions. I have extensive experience working with seniors navigating substance use, grief, chronic illness, and end-of-life concerns. My background also includes working as a Behavioral Health Consultant and Medical Social Worker in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), collaborating closely with medical providers, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and physical therapists to deliver integrated, whole-person care.

My work is rooted in compassion, presence, and a deep respect for the lived experiences of older adults. I hold a certification as an Advanced Mind-Body Medicine Practitioner, which allows me to incorporate holistic approaches into therapy that address emotional and physical wellness together. Whether you or your loved one are facing emotional challenges, coping with loss, or seeking clarity and peace during a difficult chapter, I’m here to offer support, insight, and encouragement.
