I’m Dr. Anna Yam, a licensed clinical psychologist serving California and New York (CA License PSY-27651; NY License 027102). I specialize in helping people navigate life’s most difficult transitions with compassion, expertise, and science-backed care. My practice—Bloom Psychology—focuses on geropsychology, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive challenges, chronic pain and emotionally focused couples therapy.

With over 15 years of experience, including multidisciplinary work in pain management clinics, and neuropsychological assessment training, I’ve built a therapeutic approach that is both warm and grounded in evidence. I believe in meeting you as you are, in treating emotional, mental, and physical dimensions of distress together, and in helping you claim resilience, clarity, and connection.

Difficulties I work with most often include anxiety and OCD, relationship difficulties, sleep challenges, caregiver stress, chronic pain, and grief and bereavement.
