About
I’m Njambi Kingori, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in supporting older adults through the emotional transitions that accompany later life including changes in health, shifting family roles, caregiving, grief, and end-of-life planning. My approach is compassionate, affirming, and grounded in evidence-based care tailored to your unique needs and life experiences.
Life in older adulthood can bring profound change, sometimes joyful, sometimes challenging. Whether you’re adjusting to a new diagnosis, navigating loss, managing chronic health conditions, or coping with feelings of loneliness or uncertainty, you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we can work toward rebuilding confidence, finding renewed meaning, and strengthening your sense of peace and purpose.
My therapeutic approach is holistic and person-centered, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and other relevant modalities. I strive to create a warm, inclusive space where you feel safe, understood, and respected.
If you are facing a difficult transition or simply want a supportive place to reflect and reconnect with yourself, I invite you to reach out. You deserve care that honors both your story and your strength.
