About

I am Latrice Vinson, owner and lead psychologist at Bell Wellness & Mental Health LLC. For over 15 years, I’ve been privileged to help older adults, individuals approaching older adulthood, and their caregivers navigate the challenges and joys of aging. As a licensed clinical geropsychologist, I specialize in supporting clients through significant life changes, such as adjusting to retirement, managing new health diagnoses, transitioning care or housing, coping with the loss of independence, or grieving a loved one.

My career has been shaped by years of service working in long-term care settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and specialized dementia care communities. I strive to provide compassionate care to residents and their caregivers, helping them navigate challenges and promoting quality of life for all involved. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with Veterans through my time with the Department of Veterans Affairs, where I contributed to initiatives aimed at improving care for older adults and those managing complex health and mental health needs. I also focus on supporting individuals managing multiple chronic conditions and facilitating health behavior changes—whether it’s navigating weight loss, building sustainable habits, managing diabetes, or addressing lifestyle factors that impact overall well-being.

Therapy with me is a collaborative process, grounded in evidence-based approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and motivational interviewing. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can process your emotions, develop practical strategies, and work toward meaningful goals.

Whether you are an older adult facing a life transition or a caregiver seeking support, I am here to help. Together, we’ll address the unique challenges you’re facing and empower you to build resilience, foster connection, and improve your overall quality of life. I offer telehealth appointments exclusively to meet you where you are. Contact me today to begin your journey toward healing and growth.

I am licensed in Virginia and Maryland. I am also credentialed to practice in all PSYPACT states, including Washington, DC. Check the PSYPACT Map to see if I am eligible to see you in your state.
