Hi! I’m Dr. Weston Donaldson.I provide online affirmative therapy for LGBTQIA+ adults and older adults who feel overwhelmed, devastated, or disconnected after trauma and loss, helping them find direction and purpose again.

Loss is disorienting. Numbing. Heartbreaking. It changes everything. You may be grieving the death of a loved one, adjusting to chronic illness or a new disability, or feeling emotionally depleted while trying to appear “okay” to others. You may feel stuck in painful memories of what happened, or how life used to be, unsure how to move forward when the future you planned for no longer feels possible. You long to feel like yourself again, with a clear sense of purpose.

Therapy with me offers a space where you don’t have to explain your LGBTQ+ identity, relationships, or chosen family. I understand the unique ways grief, aging, caregiving, and health challenges intersect with queer lives. Together, we will work to help you relate differently to difficult and painful experiences, and to rebuild a sense of direction.
