As a licensed clinical social worker, I have been supporting individuals and families for over ten years both in person and via telehealth. I have helped individuals manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, and grief, as well as helping individuals navigate life’s difficult transitions such as retirement, divorce, relocation or death of a loved one. I use an integrated approach in the assessment of presenting symptoms and develop a strong therapeutic alliance as the clients as I develop treatment goals and a treatment plan. I have employed tenets of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) among others in addressing symptoms and attaining treatment goals.

As a former hospice and medical social worker, I have experience working and supporting individual and families who are confronted with end of life issues. Some of my past clients have included individuals looking for support as they manage a chronic health condition, a terminal diagnosis, and decisions surrounding end of life. Other clients have been care-givers to partners or parents managing chronic health conditions, terminal diagnosis and decision making around long term care.
