About

I provide evidence-based counseling and advisory services to help individuals and couples in middle and later adulthood navigate challenges, adapt to transitions, foster resilience, and achieve lasting growth. I tailor an approach that responds to each client’s goals and values, helps to ameliorate psychological distress, and works to build sustained habits of thought and action leading to greater well-being for each client. Whether you’re navigating personal transitions, anticipating or adjusting to retirement, or dealing with a medical diagnosis, I partner with you to clarify your values, align your goals, and move forward in your life with greater flexibility and resilience.

I collaborate with individuals and couples who face grief and loss, chronic and terminal illness, and changing relationships. I work with clients to achieve greater wellness, build healthier relationships, and improve communication by cultivating and sustaining health habits.

My desire to promote respect for human dignity and diversity  guides my efforts to create a safe place for all people where openness, acceptance, and patience are embodied in all aspects of our work. I honor the unique aspects of each person’s identity, values, and lived experience.

Our work together is personalized to your needs and designed to help you manage life transitions, emotional challenges, and relationship dynamics. Utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as a framework, I integrate proven cognitive, behavioral, motivational interviewing, and existential approaches along with other methods to tailor an approach that responds to your goals and values.
