About

I am a clinical psychologist in Atlanta who specializes in cognitive assessment and neuropsychology. In my private practice in Decatur, I enjoy working with adults of all ages, but I specialize in addressing the unique issues facing the aging population, including anxiety, depression, memory loss, grief, mild cognitive impairment, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, caregiver burnout, etc. I provide neuropsychological evaluations, which is a way of determining how your brain functions using standardized tests and techniques. The assessment yields information about current strengths and weaknesses in an individual’s memory, attention, and other thinking skills. In this way, I can assist your physician in making diagnoses, assess changes in your functioning over time, and evaluate your ability to perform everyday living skills independently (e.g., working, driving, and managing your affairs). I then provide detailed recommendations for medical and psychological follow-up as needed and educational information about brain-healthy behaviors. I also provide individual psychotherapy.
